Do you remember the last time you had some free time and didn’t know what to do? yes that time when you went out shopping and spent half your budget, ir that time you went into Amazon and bought that “thing” you really needed.

I am sure you’ve been there before, I know I have. That is why today I’d like to explore some other possibilities of things we can enjoy doing for free. Yes 100% FREE.

Let’s see what we come up with…

13 Things You Can Enjoy For Free

13 Things You Can Enjoy Doing For Free

Walks: Walking is such a fun and “natural” thing to do. Weather you live in the countryside or in a bustling metropolis; there is really nothing stopping you (maybe the weather) from putting on some walking shoes and going out for a brisk walk. It’s free and it’s healthy! If you have 30 min, an hour or more to kill give this one a try.

House Organising: Look around you. I’m sure there is stuff laying where it shouldn’t be. Get to work LOL!  Here’s 2175 tips on organising your home I’m sure you’ll find them helpful.

Volunteering: Such a noble act. Have a look on Google to see if there is anywhere you can lend a helping hand in your area. It’s nice to give back to the community every now and again. Volunteering is free to do and can be very rewarding. 🙂

Board Games: Bored at home with nothing to do and not a lot of money to spend? Nothing beats a round of Monopoly or Chequers with the family. These games can certainly entertain you for hours on end!

Cooking: If you’ve got the ingredients at hand, cooking is also a free activity you can do. Find a recipe you’ve been dying to try or check our out freezer meal recipes and start cooking up a storm!

Social Media: Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter and the sort. Need I say more!? I’m kinda addicted to these platform LOL. Thank goodness they’re free haha!

Free Attractions: If you live in a city there is usually free attractions you can visit or go see. Maybe museums, zoos or the theater? Simply Google “Free things to do in *your city*” and I am sure you’ll find something to do! 🙂

Meditation / Yoga: I’m not really a big fan of yoga and meditation but these are both free activities you can do in the comfort of your home, for free! Check out this article for how to do yoga and meditation as a beginner!

Sex: Sex is one of the most enjoyable things we can do and it’s also free….well in most cases it is :P. If you’re want to spice things up a bit; plan a date night with your partner and *work your magic* to get a night full of passionate (totally free) love making.

Workout: My girlfriend watches Tiffany Roth movies on YouTube, they’re free to watch and apparently they’re really enjoyable to follow with. If you’re looking for a quick exercise try one of Tiffany’s workouts!

Get Your Coupons Sorted: If you’d like to be a cheerful money saver you need to start couponing. Have a look inside old magazines and newspapers and cut out the coupons you’re most likely to use. That way you can kill some time while also planning how to save more money. A WIN-WIN! 🙂

Blogging: You should consider starting a blog. It’s totally free to do and you might earn some money from it too. Just set up a free account on WordPress or Blogger and get to work. Don’t worry if you’re not the best of writers, you’re not writing for the New York times! You’ll also get better in time. Try to blog once a day about something you’re passionate it and you’ll soon start to realise the many benefits of blogging.

Reading: Read blogs online, books, eBooks, magazines or anything you can get your hand on. Any sort of reading is enjoyable and free. If  you’re also thinking about taking up blogging, reading will help you improve your writing style significantly!

That is all folks. For more ideas on how to save money while you got extra time on your hands and not that big of a budget check out my other blog post.
