I’m so glad to see that the last post from “Up Your Income” got such positive feedback. Earning or increasing an income is as equally important as saving money! The best way to be in a financially healthy state is to have both: A increasing income and wise money management. Today I’m going to be talking to you about some already proven and quick and easy ways to make money that I have found from my research about the subject!

These methods are for people looking to earn an extra income quickly on the side BUT it most of the ideas discussed can all be turned into a legitimate business model or a “full time” income if you wish.

Also check out the 4 things you should always avoid when trying to make quick money down below!

10 Quick And Easy Ways To Make Money

Baby/Pet Sitting – (1 week to a month)

Get the word out in your community that you are available to baby / pet sit. This is a great way to make some quick money on the side as baby/pet sitting commands $10-$15 an hour. (I’m guessing it depends on experience and how many children/pets)

Sell Old Stuff – (few days)

Take a good look around your house, pick up the things you haven’t used in a year and just sell it. If you haven’t used it in a year, chances are you won’t ever use it again (most items anyway). See how much these things are going for on Amazon and sell them on there. Other sites worth considering are eBay & Craigslist!

Make Stuff to Sell – (few days – a week or two)

If you’re good with crafts and can “mass produce”, set up an account with Etsy and start selling. Easy as that. Some products on there sell for $100+.

If you’re successful with this and can “scale up” you can easily start your own online business.

Do Freelance Work – (one – two days)

A large percentage of my income comes from freelance sites like Fiverr & People Per Hour. I talk about these two sites quite a lot on Financial Highway because I do believe they are the easiest , quickest ways to make money online. This too can turn into a full-on online business!

Bust Open Your Piggy Banks – (instantly)

Obviously this is not a sustainable business model but if you have been collecting money for some time and are in some desperate need of some dough, crack it open. The last one I opened had €175 in there! Nice!

If you don’t have a piggy bank, get one from here!

Get a Part Time Job – (two weeks – one month)

If you have the time for it, consider getting yourself a part time job. It’s not an instant solution to make quick money but having an extra income could help prevent a financial crisis down the road.

Rent Out a Room –  (few day – months)

If you have an extra room in your house, consider renting it to a stranger. Personally I do not like this idea but apparently it’s very popular, especially in expensive cities likes London, New York and the sort. If you’re up for it, just post an ad on Craigslist.

Sell Your Body LOL No Not Like That – (one – two days)

Ok this is not highly recommended and should only be seen as a desperate measure but you can sell your hair, sperm, plasma, breast milk for anywhere between $20-$50. Again, I would never do this myself, but a lot of people find it profitable!

Payday Loans – (instantly)

If you have a serious money management problem, you should stay away from this because it can get dangerous! If on the other hand you’re usually on top of your finances but just fell short this month, go ahead and get a “quick fix” but DO NOT make Payday Loans a habit!

Advertise On Your Car – (few days – months)

Your car is a mobile billboard. Advertisers have been known to pay anywhere from $200 – $2000 just for you to place an ad on your car. It all depends on your location. If you are interested, again Craigslist should be where you start! 🙂

Not Recommended Ways To Make Money Quick

  • Lotteries/Casinos
  • Loan sharks
  • Selling items of sentimental value (unless you’re on the brink of death from poverty)
  • Crime

Never, ever should you consider these viable options when looking for quick and easy ways to make money. You’ll end up in far worse situation than what you started with!

Thank you folks for checking in, it’s been a pleasure! 🙂
